Total Field and Designations
A total field (TF) is calculated from the line items listed below it.
The designations D and C indicate which accounts in the taxonomy are treated as debtor or creditor accounts. A + or – shows how the accounts are included in the calculation. For line items without a + or –, these are declaratory sub-accounts. These are not included in any calculation. Therefore, the parent line item must be populated in order to report these.
If you cannot find any line items that correspond to your position, you may be able to select a line item that is designated as, for example, “other”, “miscellaneous”, or “not assignable”.
